The colour and pattern are lovely. The body is lined with a thin jersey material, but the sleeves are not lined and the material is very thin making them slightly see through as in the photo. It looks lovely on and very smart for evening wear. I am a size 10 and bought the small which was quite roomy as the garment hangs straight down with straight sides. However after I washed it on the wool wash with a 400 spin speed it looked to have shrunk in width and length. I think this is due to the crinkle nature of the fabric. I pulled it back into shape whilst wet and it still fits fine, but is not quite as loose fitting as it was. On the very good side the ruffle came up nice after washing (no longer flattened in the post), and no need to iron!
