Initially purchased XXL in Cherry Red and was extremely happy with the quality and fit so I purchased another two, one in Denim Marl the other Bright Emerald Green in the same size.unfortunately I’ve had to return both as both bigger than the Cherry Red (with the Bright Emerald Green even larger than the Denim Marl) and they don’t sit as well on the body. Seems quality control for sizing is not a priority or perhaps the labelling was wrong on the Cherry Red. Who knows, I surely don’t. Regardless of the reason it’s not my fault, but I’m up for the cost of returning these items. As an aside, be forewarned the company’s policy also requires the buyer to cover the cost of return postage even if the item you receive is faulty. To be clear and fair I would have had no objection having to pay for return postage, if I had simply changed my mind.
I had initially considered exchanging the Denim Marl and Bright Emerald for a smaller size as I really like the feel of these jumpers, but I was concerned that if there was an issue with the replacements, I’d once again be paying for the cost of returning them (besides, the smaller size had sold out in both colours).
Sadly and disappointingly I expect this will be my last purchase from WoolOvers.
Mail tracking shows the jumpers reached their destination yesterday. Fingers crossed I won’t have to wait too long for my refund to be processed.
I’ve attached photos for size comparison. Subject: Apology for Size Discrepancy
