The products seem really good quality until you wash them. I always wash in non-biological solution on the wool programme, as recommended, but they go bobbly after a couple of wears, get holes in them, get very thin, the colour fades and some of the stitching comes undone. They only last a couple of years, so not great.
Thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear you have had a problem when washing our garments. It is not normal for our garments to get damaged or change in quality after they have been washed. However, we do not advise using non - biological nor biological detergent as they do have bleaching agents which could cause fading. For washing, we do recommend a wool friendly enzyme free detergent (look out for the Woolmark symbol). As for the 'bobbles', this is what we call pilling and pilling is a perfectly natural process for natural yarns to go through. It is when the natural fibres, with wear, intertwine. To tackle the pills, we recommend using a pilling comb, which is like a little razor, to cut them off. We hope that this information is helpful to you and if you are unhappy with your latest purchase, please do feel free to return it under the 'no quibbles' guarantee and we will be more than happy to process a refund for you.
