Favourite cable knits
Cable knits are always a big favourite at Wool Overs.
Whether a big super chunky knit or a finer one, not only are cable knits the perfect jumper to combat the winter chills, but they never really go out of fashion.
The cable knit uses a crossing stitch, which results in the shape of a ‘twisted rope’. The most famous cable knit, the classic Aran jumper, was originally used by fishermen for its practicality and ability to keep them very warm when at sea. They have now become a knitwear essential, for keen skiers.
What we really like about these cable knits is their versatility; you can wear anything you like with them, be it a pair of jeans or a shirt, depending on what style you would like to go for. Plus, they look chunky, but can still fit under a winter coat.
