Bunnies, eggs, chicks… they are all coming your way shortly. With Easter closely approaching we’re welcoming the temptation to eat loads of chocolate eggs and celebrate this really fun (and fattening) time of year with some handmade ideas and charming Easter recipes.
So before you visit the supermarket to buy a chocolate Easter egg or greetings card, maybe think about making your own gifts or even better getting the children or grandchildren to help in making them.
No standard mini-egg nests to be seen here, but don’t throw away the sprinkles just yet – as these seriously cute cupcakes use loads of them. This great how-to from Handmade Charlotte gives us easy step-by-step instructions on how to make her adorable bunny/chick face and bunny in the grass cupcakes.

We really love the colours used for these bunny jars, and Torie Jayne’s other chic treats. The pastel mint and peachy shades feel really festive, but also a bit more elegant than the general Easter fair we’re used to.

Can you remember making pompoms when you were younger? We can. Little girls love making pompoms and whilst knitting might be a stretch for little fingers, these pom pom chicks and bunnies are much easier and a lovely way to use up some left over wool.
