There’s a crazy crochet world out there where just about anything goes. But despite the wealth of choice, it seems that food is definitely one of the more popular crocheting themes at the moment, with some taking it much more seriously than others.
One crocheter who is making big waves is the amazing Instagramer @chiliphilly whose crochet hats are fast turning into the stuff of knitting legend.

Another knitting genius is Brighton based UK artist Kate Jenkins, whose work captures some classic retro food favourites with the most amazing attention to detail.

Japanese artist Jung Jung takes it to a whole new level though, with her sophisticated and very elegant work, which incorporates both crochet and lace making.
