Bloggers are a great source of inspiration, both for revamping the wardrobes we already have, and for inspiring us to make some new fashion purchases. Here at Wool Overs we love nothing more than seeing influential bloggers wearing our clothing and all in such different ways.
In fact, because we love to see the individuality of our bloggers so much, we decided our popular Cashmere & Merino V Neck Jumper to a few of our top bloggers to see how they would each style it for two different occasions.
Here are the results…
Look 1: A day in the Office

We love how Jennifer from Art Style Love created this look for a day in the office. It’s chic, stylish, yet practical too and the turtle neck layering adds a nice quirky touch. Jennifer paired the Wool Overs jumper with a darker toned grey turtle neck, black culottes, white pointed courts, an envelope clutch and silver accessories. The monotone pieces harmonise with each other and pull the look together to create an outfit that is both comfortable and work-appropriate.
Look 2: Shopping with Friends

Jennifer chose a lighter and more casual look for her second outfit choice – a shopping trip with friends. Camel and grey are two colours that complement each other to no end and she wore a sleeveless camel jacket over the jumper and a pair of jeans, completing the look with comfy black ankle boots and a large black tote. Sunglasses are an accessories-must, and she’s finished off the look with a pair of round black rims.

Look 1: A day at the beach

We love the way Jessica Edmunds from Blonde of Carbs styled her Wool Overs jumper for a day at the beach – this look works to convey the versatility and practicality of our knitwear. Jess paired her Cashmere & Merino V Neck Sweater with an ASOS Denim Skirt, a camel coloured coat from Zara and some chequered brogues. The look she conveyed was a 90s salute with student accents – the leather rucksack, brogues and school girl-esque tucked in jumper. But it worked – and it worked very well.
Look 2: Shopping date

Jess’s second look was for a shopping date and she said how her outfits are based on wearability and comfort as well as style so this look was ideal. She took the beautiful photos in a floral garden in Worthing and styled the jumper with a Coatigan from New Look and jeans and shoes from Topshop. Speaking of the jumper, she said “Prior to these two style challenges I had no idea that I could make jumpers let alone cashmere Summer/Spring wearable, but thanks to the English weather you totally can.”

Look 1: Sunday walk

Roxanne Hoare-Smith from Studded Kisses styled her first outfit for a Sunday walk and with this confusing June weather, this outfit is ideal for any sudden downpours. She kept the outfit casual, pairing dungarees with the jumper adding a feminine touch to the edgy, grungy style which can be worn all year round. To add an extra bit of oomph to the outfit Roxanne suggests adding lots of jewellery and a bright bag for that pop of colour, but says of herself “My main accessory is my hair…!”
Look 2: Working lunch

Roxanne’s second outfit was for a working lunch- something that is required to be smart yet also stylish. For this she layered her Wool Overs jumper over a H&M shirt and jeans and teamed it with a pair of beautiful heels from Zara. Layering a v neck jumper can make an outfit look perfectly professional and it can be easily removed in the evening depending on the occasion, making a stylish outfit look effortless.

Look 1: English tea party

Danielle Alinia from Danielle Did What? chose her first look to be an ‘English tea party’- perfect for the coming warmer months, where it is warm but there is still a little chill in the air and you need a cover up. She paired her Wool Overs jumper with a beautiful dress from New Look, pearls from ASOS, vintage glasses and a Cartier watch for a feminine look with a twist.
Look 2: Walking the dogs

For this look Danielle paired her jumper with an ASOS dress and some wellies from Amazon to create a versatile look that will keep her cool enough on a warm day, yet sheltered from those chilly British breezes we’re all well more than well-acquainted with. Her necklace is from all that glitters and we love the finishing effect it has on the outfit.
