Needs interfacing along buttons

Ordered a small and colors (Pistachio) are lovely. However, the stripe border gaps unattractively when buttoned. I am a size 6 with a small waist & bust, so this doesn't happen with other styles. Other manufacturers use some kind of interfacing or grograin ribbon along the striped border on both sides where the buttonholes & buttons are to keep the pattern aligned straight. Much more flattering, then. Will have to bring this to a tailor for additional work which will keep me from otherwise recommending this sweater.

I bought the flannel and cerise trim colour and it was exactly as depicted. Based on the other reviews I went a size up and it fitted perfectly. This is a fitting style and would have been too small if I had bought the small size. It looks good buttoned or unbuttoned and it feels so soft and is surprisingly warm. Another good purchase from Woolovers and quick delivery to New Zealand!

Just purchased this in cerise & was a little unsure at first, as it's brighter than I expected somehow. Took the plunge though, and am so glad I did - looks really smart & yet very comfy to wear. I'm a 14/16 & got a large - don't like it gaping at the buttons if fastened up & this is only just OK, so recommend you size up if you're in between sizes.
