I have spent most of my life working in the menswear trade, until health reasons brought my working life to an end. The quality of this garment is such that, were it from any other retailer, I would expect the garment to retail at two or three times the Woolovers' price.To find a fully fashioned sweater of this quality, at this price point, is incredible. Sizing is very generous, I prefer a looser fit, but could have managed with sizing down to a medium for a slimmer look (I am a 42" chest and 6'1" in height). Sleve length is great - so many sweaters are too short in the sleeve, but not this one. I haven't washed the sweater as yet, but going on past experience with Woolovers' products, this will not be a problem - something certain other manufacturers could do well to learn from (looking at you, Mr Lauren). I apologise for the Proustian length of this review, but the product really is that good. Now all I have to do is stop Julie 'borrowing' it......

I have had this jumper now for a couple of years and it looks as good as new and washes well. I take it on every holiday whether at home or abroad. It's great to wear for chilly evenings, sitting up in bed or around the house when it goes a little cool. It's so soft to wear and cosy. It would probably look a little more stylish with a lower V - but I guess it is unisex so that is unlikely to change. I have the Cherry colour and am tempted to buy another in one of the new colours. I am a size 10 and the small is roomy but that's part of its appeal.

This is my second purchase - this time in Cherry - which is different than shown and very bright - I would describe as almost hot pink. I have a medium and am normally a size 14 Australian and this does not cling but is not too baggy. The other colour I have is sand which is as shown in the photos. If iti was not so expensive to return (as postage from A/a) then I would swap this colour. Very soft and comfortable. Only rated as a 3 due to colour not being as expected.

I received two jumpers promptly in medium, I would say I would normally buy large BUT even the medium are very large but I am keeping them as gifts for friends. I will order small, be warned these are VERY generously sized so order smaller than you would normally do.
